Bnei Menashe Culture and Heritage Center (Museum & Gallery)
The Bnei Menashe Cultural and Heritage Center was founded with the purpose of educating the public about the history and culture of the Bnei Menashe, about the early pioneers who initiated and founded Judaism and honoring their contributions to community development.
The Museum and gallery portray Bnei Menashe's account and culture from its historical perspective. In addition, the museum showcases and encourages the present-day renaissance of Bnei Menashe culture, affirming its survival and continued vitality in the face of extreme adversity.
Situated at Brith Arim 16, Sderot, the Center also serves as a springboard for cultural activities for the community. The Heritage Centre was donated by Alon Davidi, the Mayor of Sderot, and the Center was opened by the Mayor on 16 December 2021 and offers year-round exhibitions, programs, and activities to promote greater public awareness and appreciation of Bnei Menashe heritage, arts and culture.
The Center is established in loving memory of HaRav Eliyahu Avichail זצ"ל & HaRav Aryeh Gamliel זצ"ל, and in remembrance of the late pioneers among the Bnei Menashe
